Please complete this section and return it to your first period teacher NO LATER than September 8, 2008 

PARENT/GUARDIAN AGREEMENT:  Because I want my child to succeed, I will encourage him/her by doing the following:

See that my child is punctual and attends school regularly.

Support the school in its efforts to maintain a safe learning environment.

Assist my child with homework and review it regularly.

Encourage my child’s efforts and be available to help him/her.

Monitor my child’s learning by:

1. Communicating with the teacher frequently and using Schoolloop.
2. Attending parent/teacher conferences as needed.
3. Volunteering or observe at the school, in the classroom and on field trips as time permits.
4. Read with my child and let my child see me read.
5. Help my child with social skills.
6. Hold high expectations for my child’s progress and achievement.

I have read and reviewed the 2008-2009 Dwyer Student Handbook book explaining the school policies and procedures.
